VWW: Meine Meidling

Meidling is an important place for many Viennese, as a traditional working-class district, solidly red, somehow old-fashioned, and yet, a big railway station, home to Sebastian Kurz, with a lively market, fashion school and U4 Club. We will explore a district with hills, a strong identity, its own accent, but also a diverse, fun and accessible neighbourhood. A part of the Ringstrasse des Proletariat is here, also Stadt Wien's Architecture & Design Dept (MA 19), the police helicopter and uniforms, and the Wien Fluss. Our group will share good stories and get to know this changing but eternal part of Wien West.
Eugene's first three Wien projects were here, in 2012 (free hugs, Vienna Gasthaus Tischgespraechen (in Goldmarie) & Music Safari, and he has been dj in different parts of the Bezirk, from the Hauptstrasse to the Markt.
