To welcome back in-person conferences, here we go with the opening fest of ESPAnet, one of the largest meetings of Social Policy academics in Europe. Soundtrack will be provided by Badinya, meaning friendship in Mandinka (one of the languages of Senegal), with psychedelic-Afro sounds provided by Amadou and his band. Eugene will present a part of the introduction, along with Yuri Kazepov, head of Sociology at Uni Wien. Please join us in this beautiful courtyard, which will be animated with 450 researchers, eager to get to know Vienna, before 3 days of ideas and presentations.
