As part of the annual Urban Future Conference (Europe's biggest Smart City meeting), we will co-host a social-dining event to connect residents of Stuttgart with participants of the congress. Eugene is a passionate believer that conferences should leave a trace in their host city, with more placemaking and less deal-making. So we bring a lively table and 150 places to be filled. Good food, the shortest night of the year (leading to a Midsummer Night's Dream?) and plenty of dialogue on how we will live together better in cities in the future.
We provide the question menu, and St Maria Church is cooking up a storm for you. Since Germany will be hosting the European Football Championships, Stuttgart city authority are treating tonight as an experiment to see how people spontaneously use public space - in terms of approval, chaos, rubbish, joy and drinking. Let's see!
