Something different - as you have come to expect from Whoosh. A night of diversity, with various players showing creative new ways to communicate colourful Vienna. This will be political and fun, with good food and drinks, and three other groups who work on inclusion, dialogue and the opportunities presented by immigration. Human Rights Commissioner for Stadt Wien, Shams Asadi, will join us, and also the VIDC Gender Tandems Team, and the ÖBB Mosaik Netzwerk. Eugene from Whoosh will talk about our campaign for Rebellious Optimism.
We are thrilled to co-operate with ÖBB, who do fine work on ecology, and making Austria more visible across Europe with both their night train offers and the Klimaticket as innovative solution. Disappointing to see that only a fifth of eligible teens took up the offer of a free Klimaticket. ÖBB are looking for 12,000 new employees, since they are so successful, and want to reach beyond traditional audiences to a more diverse workforce, including immigrants and LGBTQIA+ people.
