WORLDWIDE DAY OF WALKING: come explore Türkenschanzpark with us

The former Klimaschutz Ministerium (now called BM IMI - Bundesministerium for Innovation, Mobility & Infrastructure) has created a WORLDWIDE DAY OF WALKING. So coo- and something new for 2026. Thanks to Bernhard Kalteis for his vision and ambition. We need more of that in Wien!

And of course Whoosh campaigns since 2012 for active mobility, for exploring Vienna on foot, and for ecology generally.

So please join us at the University for Earth Culture - BOKU - and Sandra Wegener's project to encourage more kids to walk, and engage with their city in a more creative way. We will meet at the progressive university to explore a research park, which is also one of Vienna's finest spaces.
