VWW: Lobau Discovery

Lobau is a paradise escape space in our home town. It is highly unusual for a capital city to have a national park, and in Donau Auen, we have the opportunity to be in wilderness, but which can be accessed using your Wiener Linien Jahreskarte. On this Sunday morning chilled adventure, we step into a wild place, lost, green, full of water, but not so many people.

What is there do discover here? Cafes, naked people, a place to stroke sheep, connect with nature, climb trees, and a huge oil refinery. This is also a focus of protest, because of a possible future road project under the park...
